maomao's friend - found and lost

Today, I still tease maomao about being a sissy cat. Him and his soft creaky voice, gentle nature, the fact that he's neutered (and lost his manhood under no coincidental circumstance) and the fact that he's wearing a sissy pink collar. Oh yes! WE bought him that sissy pink collar! *chuckle chuckle*

maomao was nearly named Sophie, Princess FiFi, Princess among many other candy coated diabetic causing names when we thought HE was a SHE. Well, you couldn't really blame us cos hey, he was such a prissy little thing, anybody would've thought he was female! I was still rather unsure when he whipped out his little boy-toy to clean it one night when I was watching him groom. Funny thing is, he only shows 'it' to me and not the hubby. So I have no real proof when I hollered he was male. It's a case of Big Bird and his imaginary Snuffleupagus (I can't spell it) friend.

It took us a trip to the vet for his vaccination to confirm that maomao is indeed male. "Look, Ma! No balls!"

Now you know why he proudly dorns the sissy pink collar. We did go a little out of our way to get him a matching sissy pink rat toy, which was not surprisingly, a toy he liked quite a bit! It was the first official maomao toy since he didn't really play much with the rest of the stuff we gave him.

By the 1st hour, the sissy rat's eye and tail popped off. By the 2nd day, it was in the toilet bowl. We picked it up, washed it and maomao was off again! By the 3rd day, sissy rat had taken 2 dives into the toilet bowl again. We washed and dried it and maomao was happy again. But by the 4th day ( yes, it was in the toilet bowl yet again) we decided to pull the plug on sissy rat. This time, sissy rat took a dive down the tunnel of no return - the trash.

Tomorrow, I shall be showing just how talented maomao is.
