Catnap
What I haven't managed to capture so far is the maoster doing a funny stunt while asleep. Mr Fish use to do it A LOT. Cat owners will know what I mean when I say that cats really have a variety of sleeping poses. Us humans are boring. We are either foetal, side, back or front. A cat can do that and a thousand more! Except maybe levitate. Maybe they've mastered the art because they sleep like 16-18 hours a day. And they don't wake up feeling groggy and falling over things. Talk about power naps. I am envious!
Watch the mao sleep.
On the couch, hugging the cushion...

On a box...

At the scratching post...

In the day...

And at night...

ZZzzZZZzzZZzZZzZZzzzZZzzZzzZZzZzZzZzzzZZz..... Sweet dreams, people. ;)

How is it a cat nap is so simple? Hmmm .. I believe the answer lies in the sheep counting technique. Clearly they have developed a far more sophisticated method yet unknown to humans. Just the very thought of sheep .... zzzzzz
Now that I've read the posting, I believe it's time for yet another 30 mintue powernap. This would be the 11th one for the day. *yawn* ... zzz ...
mr mao, perhaps you should spend the waking hours of the day/night unravelling the mysteries of the catnap to us ignorant humans.
I doubt that he got tired of his scratching post. More likely taking a snooze in between swatting the thing to its death.
